Carlos Tevez is believed to be considering taking legal action against former Liverpool midfielder Graeme Souness for labelling him a "disgrace to football".
The football pundit slammed the Argentina international after he refused to warm up during Manchester City's Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
The 27-year-old has already consulted legal professionals over whether he has a case to sue Souness for defamation, according to The Telegraph.
While the striker is expected to leave the North West side, City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted that the frontman can play for the club again if he apologises for his actions.
