Bernardo Silva: "Everything is fine with my ankle"

Manchester City attacker Bernardo Silva says that 'everything is fine with his ankle' after picking up an injury on Confederations Cup duty for Portugal.

Manchester City attacker Bernardo Silva has revealed that 'everything is fine with his ankle' after picking up an injury during Portugal's Confederations Cup clash with New Zealand on Saturday night.

The former AS Monaco attacker suffered a sprained ankle during his team's 4-0 win over New Zealand - landing heavily after registering Portugal's second of the night as Fernando Santos's side made the semi-finals.

Silva has played down suggestions that he suffered a potentially serious injury, however, as he looks to play a part in the latter stages of the tournament.

Silva moved to Man City from Monaco on a five-year deal last month.
