The striker has recently been linked with moves to Liverpool, Chelsea and Cardiff City.
The French international told Telefoot: "After sometimes being substitute in Lyon, it has hardened me, and I am happy.
"If one day it is time for me to go to a big club in Europe, then I will already have shown how strong I am."
Gomis scored 20 goals for the Ligue 1 side last season.
