Three Championship sides have reportedly made enquiries for Liverpool winger Luis Alberto after his proposed return to Sevilla fell through.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is believed to have sanctioned a sale of the 23-year-old this summer - three years after he joined from the La Liga side for £6.8m - and left him out of the club's tour of the US.
Sevilla were unprepared to meet Liverpool's current valuation of £6m for the Spaniard, however, putting a number of second-tier English sides on alert.
According to the Liverpool Echo, recently-relegated Aston Villa, Chinese-backed Wolverhampton Wanderers and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's Queens Park Rangers have all expressed an interest in recent days.
Alberto has made just 12 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions and has not featured for the first team since January 2014.
