Liverpool defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos has joined Bundesliga club Wolfsburg for an undisclosed fee.
The Greek international made 49 appearances for the Merseyside club during a two-year spell.
The 32-year-old was impressed by his new club's title success in 2009 and has set his sights on nailing down a first-team place under coach Felix Magath.
"Wolfsburg are a good club," he told the club's official website. "The championship in 2009 is still fresh in my head.
"I'm here to play - if possible in every game. I'm fit, but the coach decides when and if I get to play."
Kyrgiakos scored three goals during his time at Anfield.
