Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane is reportedly one of four transfer targets for Bayern Munich, as well as Ousmane Dembele, Sebastien Haller and Sasa Kalajdzic.

Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane is reportedly one of four names on Bayern Munich's attacking shortlist for the summer transfer window.

The Senegal international has often found himself playing through the middle this term amid Roberto Firmino's injury woes and has enjoyed another impressive campaign at Anfield.

Mane has found the back of the net 22 times in 49 games across all tournaments this season - as well as providing five assists - while he became Africa Cup of Nations champion with Senegal earlier this year.

However, the 30-year-old's long-term future with Jurgen Klopp's side is still mired in uncertainty, as his contract on Merseyside now has less than 18 months left to run.

Liverpool are expected to offer Mane a deal to stay on at the club a little while longer, but they will be forced into an awkward position if the ex-Southampton man elects not to pen fresh terms.

Bayern Munich are reported to have already held talks with Mane's entourage, with Julian Nagelsmann overseeing a couple of major attacking changes this summer.

According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Bayern are indeed in negotiations with Mane's agents, and the Liverpool man is one of four attacking targets for the German champions.

Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that he will not be signing a new contract at the Allianz Arena, and the 33-year-old's deal also runs out at the end of next season.

Bayern chiefs have consistently ruled out the prospect of Lewandowski leaving in the summer, but the striker's announcement means that they run the risk of losing him for nothing in 2023.

Meanwhile, contract talks with Serge Gnabry are yet to bear fruit, and the ex-Arsenal youngster is thought to be a prime transfer target for Real Madrid after entering the final 18 months of his own deal.

As well as Mane, Bayern are also reported to have added Ajax's Sebastien Haller, Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele and Stuttgart's Sasa Kalajdzic to their attacking wishlist.

Dembele surprisingly remained at Barcelona in January despite their attempts to sell him for a cut-price fee, and he will become a free agent at the end of June.

A new deal for the Frenchman at Camp Nou is not beyond the realm of possibility, but he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs while he runs down his deal.

Meanwhile, Haller has reignited his career at Ajax after a difficult spell at West Ham United, scoring 34 goals in all tournaments during the 2021-22 season, including 11 in the Champions League - only Karim Benzema (15) and Lewandowski (13) have more.

Ajax are under little pressure to part ways with Haller, whose contract does not run out until 2025, and the 27-year-old recently rubbished reports claiming that he could follow Erik ten Hag to Manchester United.

Stuttgart talisman Kalajdzic missed four months of the season due to a shoulder injury but recovered to score six goals and set up two more in 15 Bundesliga matches, as Pellegrino Matarazzo's side secured survival.

The 24-year-old's deal with the German side expires in 2023, so a sale is likely on the cards this summer, and Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the 6ft 6in striker.
