Paris Saint-Germain to rival Liverpool for Eduardo Salvio?

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly compete with Liverpool to sign Benfica star Eduardo Salvio.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to compete with Liverpool for the signature of Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio.

The Argentina international has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the past, but recent speculation has suggested that the Portuguese champions are looking to maximise his value by renegotiating his release clause.

According to Record, Les Parisiens are keen to move for the Benfica star, as are the Reds.

ESPN claims that financial fair play regulations mean that PSG are turning their attention away from the likes of Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria, with Salvio considered a more modest purchase.

Salvio joined Benfica from Atletico Madrid in 2012 after a season-long loan at the Estadio da Luz.
