Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic is determined to stay at Camp Nou this summer.
The 30-year-old joined the Catalan giants last September as part of the deal that took Arthur to Juventus, but he has found it difficult to make his mark with Ronald Koeman's side.
The midfielder has featured on 28 occasions in all competitions but is yet to provide a goal or an assist, while he has not appeared in La Liga since the end of February.
A recent report claimed that Barca would have to move Pjanic on this summer in order to bring Liverpool's Georginio Wijnaldum to the club.
However, the Bosnia-Herzegovina international has revealed that he is desperate to stay and fight for his spot with Koeman's team.
"I did not sign for Barca to leave the following year. I signed to make history in a club that had been on my path for many years," Pjanic told Mundo Deportivo.
The midfielder's current contract at Camp Nou is due to run until June 2024.
