Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has reportedly been offered an opportunity to pen a contract extension at Liverpool.
The midfielder missed the majority of the last campaign due to a serious knee injury sustained during a Champions League fixture in April 2018.
However, the 25-year-old was a regular fixture in the first-team squad towards the end of the season, making two outings in the Premier League from the substitutes' bench.
According to Sky Sports News, Liverpool have decided to show their faith in the England international by adding a further 12 months to his existing deal.
Should Oxlade-Chamberlain opt to commit his future to the Merseyside outfit, it will mean that his fresh terms will keep him at the club until 2023.
