Porto attacker Luis Diaz is reportedly set to undergo his Liverpool medical this weekend.
The Reds are now expected to beat Tottenham Hotspur to the signature of the 25-year-old, with Porto believed to have relented on their €80m (£66.6m) release clause.
Liverpool are supposedly preparing to fork out as much as €60m (£50m) for Diaz's signature with add-ons included, and the Colombia international is thought to have had his heart set on a switch to Anfield.
According to Goal journalist Neil Jones, Diaz - who is currently away on World Cup Qualifying duty with Colombia - will undergo his Liverpool medical in Argentina over the weekend.
Colombia will take on the Copa America champions on Tuesday following their battle with Peru on Friday, and Jones adds that a club delegation from Liverpool are preparing to travel to South America.
Diaz has 14 goals and five assists to his name from 18 Primeira Liga appearances this season and has already faced Liverpool twice in the Champions League group stages.
