Liverpool are reportedly prepared to prioritise an approach for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner during the next transfer window.
Since the turn of the year, the Merseyside giants have been heavily linked with a move for the Germany international, who has a release clause in his contract.
However, a number of reports have also credited the Premier League leaders with an interest in winger Jadon Sancho.
According to The Athletic, Jurgen Klopp and club officials would choose to sign Werner if given a choice between the two stars.
With Sancho likely to cost well in excess of £100m, Liverpool allegedly see more value in securing a deal in the region of £50m for Werner.
The 24-year-old has contributed 25 goals and nine assists from just 33 appearances in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season.
