Dynamo Moscow sporting director Dmitry Galyamin has revealed that Liverpool made an attempt to sign Balazs Dzsudzsak on loan last month.
The 26-year-old claimed on Wednesday that Dynamo had rejected an offer from the Merseyside club and Galyamin has insisted that the Russian side were not prepared to allow the Hungarian winger to leave the club on a temporary basis.
Galyamin told Sky Sports News: "We received an offer from Liverpool for a loan deal but not for a permanent deal.
"Loaning is not an option for us so we finished the discussions immediately."
Dzsudzsak has won 50 caps for Hungary.
