Celtic have allegedly registered a 'serious interest' in signing Swansea City forward Jordan Ayew.
This season, Ayew contributed seven goals and two assists from 36 outings in the Premier League but it was not enough for the Swans to retain their place in the Premier League.
Friend Nana Oduro Sarfo - who is also the director of football at Ghanaian club Berekum Chelsea - has suggested that the player is unlikely to play in the Championship, claiming that both Celtic and Liverpool are taking a look at the 26-year-old.
Sarfo told Onua FM: "Jordan has had offers from several clubs after Swansea City's relegation last season. He will surely not play in the Championship with them.
"Liverpool have shown interest in him but Scottish side Celtic and their coach seem to be serious with their interest."
Ayew still has two years remaining on his contract, but the Welsh club could cash in on the frontman should a significant offer be made before the start of next season.
