Agent Jean-Pierre Bernes has suggested that a move to Liverpool for Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir is still a possibility.
Soon after the end of the domestic season, Liverpool were said to be close to sealing a £53m deal to sign the France international before the start of the World Cup.
The transfer broke down after a medical had been completed and it appeared that negotiations would not continue at the end of the World Cup, but Bernes has indicated that talks could be revived in the future.
Bernes told La Chaine Info: "He didn't sign because uh, it is not over! This is not the end of the story."
In recent days, it has been claimed that Fekir has been offered to a number of Premier League clubs for £66m.
