Tottenham Hotspur are not fearful about losing Ange Postecoglou to Liverpool following Jurgen Klopp's exit announcement, according to a report.
Players, pundits and fans were left in shock on Friday morning when Klopp announced that he would be leaving Anfield at the end of the season, nearly nine years after taking the reins from Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp has delivered seven pieces of silverware to Liverpool, including the Premier League and Champions League, but the 56-year-old has now admitted that he is losing the energy to continue in the role.
Before his players and the public were informed of the news, Klopp told Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group in November that he planned to leave, and the search for his successor is now underway.
Ex-Reds midfielder and Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso is the firm favourite to step into Klopp's shoes, but the Bundesliga leaders are supposedly confident of retaining the Spaniard's services for the 2024-25 season.

Even if Alonso does opt for a change of scene, two of his other former employers - Real Madrid and Bayern Munich - could also attempt to reunite with the 42-year-old should Carlo Ancelotti and Thomas Tuchel depart in the coming months.
Tottenham's Postecoglou is said to have emerged as a potential alternative to Alonso, but according to football.london, Spurs are relaxed over their manager's future and are not anticipating an early parting of the ways.
After guiding Celtic to a famous treble in the 2022-23 season, Postecoglou signed a four-year contract with Tottenham as Antonio Conte's replacement, but only after the Lilywhites' pursuits of Julian Nagelsmann and Arne Slot failed to bear fruit.
Nevertheless, Postecoglou proved to be an immediate hit with Tottenham fans, who witnessed the Australian bring fast-paced, attacking football back to North London following the conservative approaches of Jose Mourinho and Conte.
The 58-year-old took 26 points from his opening 10 Premier League games in charge - a record tally for a manager in their first season in the competition - although their form dipped over the winter period as injuries and suspensions took their toll.

Tottenham have also been dumped out of the FA Cup and EFL Cup, which will likely mean a 16th straight season without silverware, but Postecoglou has steadied the ship in the Premier League, where Spurs sit fifth in the table.
As well as Liverpool, Manchester City have been tipped to make a move for Postecoglou if Pep Guardiola calls time on his glittering Etihad stint, but Spurs are confident that the Australian is committed to the club for the long-term.
Postecoglou is said to fully invested in Tottenham's project and will show loyalty to Daniel Levy for taking a punt on him and presenting him with a long-term contract, which would put Spurs in a position to demand significant compensation if Liverpool do come knocking.
Postecoglou has overseen 13 wins, four draws and seven defeats from his 24 matches in charge of Tottenham, during which time his side have racked up 49 goals at an average of just over two per game.
Ruben Amorim, Thomas Frank, Zinedine Zidane and Roberto De Zerbi have also been mentioned as possible replacements for Klopp, whose farewell parade commenced with a 5-2 FA Cup fourth-round thrashing of Norwich City on Sunday.
