Daniel Sturridge: Liverpool are "getting stronger"

Daniel Sturridge hails Liverpool's 2-0 win over Aston Villa and says that he is looking forward to retuning to action.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has expressed his belief that the Reds are "getting stronger each game" after they beat Aston Villa 2-0 on Saturday.

Goals from Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert gave the Reds the points at Villa Park and Sturridge, who has been injured since August, is looking forward to returning to a side that he feels is improving every week.

He tweeted: "3 points again!! Team getting stronger each game Soon I'll be amongst it all"

The Reds are currently seventh in the Premier League.
