Steven Gerrard was present at Liverpool's Melwood training ground on Monday, with the former Reds skipper taking part in the club's morning session.
The central midfielder left Liverpool for Los Angeles Galaxy in the summer, but his MLS team failed to make the playoffs and he has since returned to England.
The Englishman has been working as a pundit for BT Sport over the last couple of weeks, but has fuelled suggestions that he could make a short-term return to Anfield in January by training with Jurgen Klopp's team at the start of this week.
