Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic has revealed that he did not have a great relationship with former manager Brendan Rodgers.
The Serbian joined the Merseysiders from Benfica for £20m last summer but has been loaned out to Fenerbahce after struggling to make an impact in his debut season at Anfield, although it has been reported that new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could recall him in January.
"I didn't have a good relationship with the coach," he told Portuguese newspaper A Bola. "That was a problem. I played in many positions but didn't play in mine.
"I do not look at the past, and Liverpool have a new coach."
Markovic played 20 times in the Premier League last season.
