Liverpool to offer Brendan Rodgers new deal?

Liverpool will hand manager Brendan Rodgers a new three-year contract, according to a report.

Liverpool will reportedly offer a new long-term contract to manager Brendan Rodgers.

The 41-year-old has guided the Merseyside outfit to fourth in the Premier League table, four points adrift of leaders Chelsea.

The Liverpool hierarchy are planning to reward Rodgers with a three-year deal that will be worth £2.5m a year, according to IB Times.

Reds owner John W Henry is said to have assured the Northern Irishman that he is the right man to take the club forward.

Rodgers was appointed Liverpool manager in 2012 after a two-year stint at Swansea City.
