Jurgen Klopp "really happy" with Alisson Becker error

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that he was "really happy" with Alisson Becker's error in Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said that he was "really happy" with Alisson Becker's error in Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Alisson was dispossessed by Kelechi Iheanacho inside his own box during the Premier League affair, and the Foxes forward squared for Rachid Ghezzal to find the back of the net.

Ghezzal's strike is the only goal that Liverpool have conceded this season, and Klopp has claimed that he was glad the mistake occurred so they 'do not have to wait for it now'.

"He is 0.0% arrogant, but he's confident and he can do it. It's like when our centre-halves play passes," Klopp told reporters. "They have to play passes and defend and all that stuff. I don't look for anyone responsible, the final one was Alisson but we should have cleared the situation before.

"It wasn't a situation where you pass the ball back. We make decisions in a second and in a second you realise, 'That was the wrong one'. I think that was this situation. To be 100% honest I am really happy it happened, because we don't have to wait for it now."

First-half goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino proved enough for Liverpool to record a 2-1 win at the King Power Stadium to continue their 100% start to the campaign.
