Daniel Sturridge "back soon"

Liverpool and England striker Daniel Sturridge hints that his recovery from a thigh injury may not take as long first feared.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has taken to Instagram this afternoon to reveal that he will "be back soon" from his thigh injury.

A report had claimed that the centre-forward could be out of action for four months with the complaint, which he picked up during a training session with England last week.

However, the 25-year-old has hinted that his recovery may not take that long.

Sturridge has scored one Premier League goal for Liverpool this season.
