Kenny Dalglish expresses his disappointment at the Wigan Athletic fans who booed Luis Suarez during this evening's goalless draw at the DW Stadium.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has said that he was disappointed with the Wigan Athletic fans' treatment of Luis Suarez this evening.

The Latics' faithful booed the Uruguayan during their goalless Premier League encounter after he was charged by the FA for an alleged racial slur against Patrice Evra.

"It's all very well and good telling players to control themselves, but I think the FA had better start controlling crowds," the Glaswegian told Sky Sports News.

Dalglish has already said that he will stand by Suarez come what may and the 24-year-old's lawyer confirmed this evening that they will appeal the ruling.

"Luis Suarez has never disappointed us since the day he came through the door and he won't ever do that," added Dalglish.

Liverpool are currently sixth in the Premier League, fourteen points adrift of table-toppers Manchester City.
