Daniel Agger: 'Liverpool must keep belief'

Daniel Agger claims that Liverpool must keep their self-belief if they want to win the Premier League title.

Daniel Agger has claimed that Liverpool must keep their self-belief if they want to win the Premier League this season.

The Merseysiders can move to within a point of leaders Chelsea tonight if they beat Sunderland at Anfield.

Agger has now urged his teammates to remain focused as they look to be crowned champions of England for the first time since 1990.

"We have a belief in ourselves and we go into every game believing we can win. Even when we go behind, we still believe we can win," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"If we are going to do something this season we need to keep that belief all the way through and we have to win almost every game. They are all massive weeks for us now."

Liverpool have won their last six matches in the Premier League.
