Daniel Sturridge, James Milner and Marko Grujic are fighting to be fit for Liverpool's Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday.
Sturridge was left out of the Reds' pre-season friendlies against Barcelona and Mainz because of a hip problem, and manager Jurgen Klopp recently claimed that he has "no idea" if the striker will play at the Emirates.
Milner was hauled off the Wembley pitch in the first half of Liverpool's 4-0 win over Barca due to a heel injury, while Grujic suffered an ankle problem during a 4-0 loss to Mainz.
According to the Liverpool Echo, neither Sturridge nor Milner has taken part in full training at Melwood this week and it is not yet clear if they will be fit for the Arsenal showdown, while Grujic is trying to overcome his ankle knock.
Liverpool's first three league games will be away from home as the redevelopment of Anfield is not yet complete.
