Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho takes another swipe at rival managers

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho takes another swipe at Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp for their comments about Paul Pogba's world-record fee.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has launched another dig at Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp regarding the world-record fee of Paul Pogba.

United parted with £89m to seal the return of the midfielder from Juventus, four years after allowing him to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer.

Wenger described the cost of the deal as "completely crazy", while Klopp said, "The day this is football, I'm not in a job anymore".

Mourinho described the pair's comments as 'unethical', and he has continued to fuel the fire by suggesting that his rivals do not manage clubs that are equal to United's stature.

"I know the discussion, I understand that," Mourinho told MUTV. "Sometimes in football things happen and the club breaks the record, but this is only possible at clubs like Man United.

"When I heard some of the comments and heard some of the managers criticising that, I don't think they ever have this problem because, to have this problem, you need to be at one of the top clubs in the world. So at Man United it can happen."

United have also bought Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer.
