New Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has said that he is looking forward to working with Jose Mourinho.
Pogba completed an £89m switch from Juventus this morning, becoming the most expensive player in football history just four years after leaving Old Trafford on a free transfer.
The France international revealed that he spoke with teammates who had played under Mourinho, and expects the Portuguese to help him improve as a player.
"I spoke with a lot of players when he was at [Real] Madrid - I spoke with [Alvaro] Morata, [Raphael] Varane - and they all told me he is a coach for me, he will make me improve a lot because he makes you work harder," Pogba told MUTV.
"I feel this. I spoke with him a few times and he gave me energy and positivity. So I was thinking: 'Why not?' I'm sure he can make me improve and make me a better player and a better person."
Pogba is Mourinho's fourth signing as United manager after Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
