Former Arsenal striker Jay Simpson has been included on the four-man shortlist for November's League Two Player of the Month award after his performances for Leyton Orient.
Also nominated are Carlisle United's Danny Grainger, Johnny Mullins of Oxford United and Stevenage's Chris Whelpdale.
Simpson is the league's top scorer with 15 goals and netted four of Orient's six last month.
Carlisle captain Grainger led by example and scored both goals in the 2-2 draw with Portsmouth, including a curled injury-time equaliser.
Centre-back Mullins helped Oxford concede just one goal last month, while Stevenage winger Whelpdale scored four, including a hat-trick against Morecambe.
The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
