Aleksandar Dragovic could be on his way to Leicester City as the Premier League club have reportedly opened talks with the Bayer Leverkusen defender.
The Austria international is said to have been on the Foxes' radar for the past couple of years and has now been made available to sign on an initial loan deal.
According to the Leicester Mercury, an agreement is expected to be struck before tonight's 11pm deadline as Leicester desperately try to bring in another centre-back.
It emerged earlier today that City missed out on Arsenal's Calum Chambers, with boss Craig Shakespeare keen to add competition for Wes Morgan, Robert Huth and Harry Maguire.
Leicester are also understood to have received a boost in their pursuit of Adrien Silva, who has been given permission to leave Portugal's training camp.
