Leicester City are reportedly considering making a bid for Juventus defender Merih Demiral.
Despite the Foxes currently sitting in second position in the Premier League table, aided by holding the best defensive record in the division, Brendan Rodgers wants to strengthen his squad in the January window.
According to Italian journalist Nicola Schira, the Foxes boss could give the green light for a €30m (£25.49m) offer to be made for Demiral.
The highly-regarded 21-year-old has been limited to just three starts in the Premier League and Champions League this season.
Leicester's chances of completing a deal could be boosted by the fact that Demiral plays alongside Turkish compatriot Caglar Soyuncu for their national team.
The centre-back still has over four-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
