Leicester City's Jamie Vardy has insisted that the goal that secured a precious 1-0 win for his side over Burnley at Turf Moor this afternoon belongs to him.
It appeared that Burnley's Michael Duff had turned the ball beyond his own goalkeeper to put Nigel Pearson's side ahead on the hour mark, but Vardy is adamant that he got the final touch.
"It's definitely my goal. I've seen a replay, and I managed to get it right on the line," Vardy told BBC Sport.
"We've been playing good football for most of the season and losing, so it's about time we got a win when we weren't at our best.
"We haven't had the rub of the green, but we kept going and we've never felt sorry for ourselves."
Leicester have now won their last four Premier League games, and sit outside the relegation zone in 17th with five games to play.
