Demarai Gray has claimed that Leicester City teammate Marc Albrighton should be in line for an England call-up.
Albrighton played a key role in Leicester's 2015-16 title-winning campaign, and the 28-year-old has also been in impressive form for the Foxes this season.
The attacker made eight appearances for England's Under-21 team, but has never represented the senior side.
England boss Gareth Southgate is expected to look at a number of different options ahead of the 2018 World Cup, and Gray, who has also been tipped for a call-up, has backed Albrighton to be selected.
"Marc was different class [against Burnley]. You know what you're going to get from him every week but especially on Saturday. He was good on the ball, creative and he did us proud – he didn't stop running. That's what he brings and he did very well," Gray told reporters.
"He's a reliable player and it's important for the manager to have reliable players in the team. We've seen from England call-ups, if you're playing regular football at a good consistent level, anyone can get called up, no matter what club you're at."
Albrighton has scored once and provided two assists in 15 Premier League appearances this season.
