Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler has confirmed that the club are closing in on the signing of Watford forward Fernando Forestieri.
The German coach has revealed that the Whites have agreed a fee with the Hornets for the Italy Under-21 international and hope to finalise a deal in the coming days.
He told reporters: "I can't tell you what has been agreed with Watford in terms of the price, I don't know how much it is, but I can tell you Mr Cellino has used his personal money to buy off the debt and from this season on this club can move on.
"Mr Cellino wants to do very well for this football club. He wants to back me and support me, and wants to bring in the right player at the right price and at the right age.
"So far, the signings we have made have shown that. Stuart Dallas, Chris Wood, Lee Erwin, they're all in the same bracket. Forestieri is 25 and fits the bill."
