Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul has confirmed that he is interested in a move to Leeds United this summer.
The 26-year-old is thought to be Leeds' priority for the remainder of the transfer window, with the club having already brought in the likes of Rodrigo Moreno and Robin Koch since their promotion to the Premier League.
Talks with Udinese over a transfer fee for De Paul have reached an impasse, though, with the Italian outfit reportedly demanding £37m - a sum which would smash Leeds' record transfer fee for a second time this summer.
Zenit St Petersburg have also been linked with a move for the Argentine but, in a tweet which has since been deleted, De Paul appeared to confirm that he would prefer to join compatriot Marcelo Bielsa's side.
De Paul scored seven goals and created six more for Udinese in 34 Serie A appearances last season.
