Leeds United are said to be interested in signing Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford.
The 24-year-old joined Middlesbrough from Chelsea in January of last year after a loan spell at the North Yorkshire outfit in the 2014-15 season.
The forward scored 10 goals in the Championship last term, but had netted 17 goals in his previous season-long loan at the club.
Newly-appointed Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa is keen to add to his attacking options next season, and would prefer a player with experience at Championship level.
Bielsa had initially made Derby County striker Matej Vydra his number one target this summer, but the Czech international's wage demands were reportedly deemed to be too high.
Leeds have already had a £1.2m offer turned down for Poland international Taras Romanchuk from Jagiellonia Białystok earlier in the transfer window.
