Adana Demirspor will be attempting to continue placing pressure on those in the top three of the Turkish Super Lig this Wednesday when they travel to play Konyaspor.

The hosts do sit four places behind their midweek opponents, but will provide a stern test as they head into the game undefeated in their previous six outings.

Konyaspor have been the draw specialists so far in the Turkish Super Lig as they have shared points 12 times already this season, including three of their past six matches.

Those draws have stopped the team from kicking on and providing more of a threat further up the league table, but despite the missed opportunities to collect more points Aleksandar Stanojevic's men do still sit eighth right now.

They have been resilient and tough to break down as of late as well which has allowed the team to develop a six-match unbeaten run that should have injected a level of confidence into the group.

That was evident in their most recent outing where Konyaspor defeated Gaziantep 3-0, with the clean sheet being just as impressive as their offensive output.

Picking up another three points in midweek would have the potential of increasing the pressure on those above them, including their opponents which they will no doubt be looking to do.

However, the visitors have their own reasoning for picking up more points as they are currently sat just outside of the European positions right now.

They trail Besiktas by five points, which is a gap that the team will not want to see extend as the season comes toward the final stretch.

Adana Demirspor reacted positively to their recent defeat against Galatasaray by picking up consecutive victories where they scored eight goals and conceded zero in the process.

The attacking qualities that the team have will likely be on display once again this time around as only three teams in the entire division have scored more than them this season.

However, even though they have been fairly consistent throughout the campaign it is their home form which has pushed them into the position they are in right now, with their only defeats happening away from home which the team needs to address.

The hosts have been dealing with a couple of injuries lately as Uche Ikpeazu and Konrad Michalak have been out of action due to muscular problems.

However, the attacking qualities of Mame Diouf will be leaned on as his eight-goal contributions this season have been pivotal.

Babajide David Akintola is someone who has been just as impressive in front of goal for the visitors, and after scoring twice in their last outing he should feature again.

Younes Belhanda could potentially return in this match though as his suspension for violent conduct has wrapped.
