Juventus reportedly want to sign France midfielder Blaise Matuidi to a new contract at the club.
The 32-year-old had been linked with a move away from Turin during the summer after the Italian champions signed Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot to improve their midfield.
Matuidi has started and finished both of Juve's Serie A matches this season, though, and is set to be regularly involved under Maurizio Sarri throughout the campaign.
The Frenchman will see his current deal expire in June 2020, but according to Calciomercato, the Serie A giants want the midfielder to extend his stay at the club.
The 2018 World Cup winner has made 90 appearances for Juve - contributing seven goals in the process - since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017.
