Saturday's Serie A predictions including Torino vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Torino vs. Juventus.

Lecce vs. Empoli (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Lecce's wretched run is seeing them sink into a bottom three spot in Serie A, and Empoli can force the struggling side's slide in Saturday's round 32 clash at Stadio Via del Mare.

Luca Gotti's men could not keep a third consecutive clean sheet in a row in last week's 3-0 loss at AC Milan, but Davide Nicola's men got an uplifting 3-2 triumph over Torino in gameweek 31.

We say: Lecce 0-1 Empoli

This game is a close one to call. The home side are struggling to find the back of the net on their turf, while Empoli just ended a four-game run without scoring before last weekend's win over Torino.

However, the away side's penchant for netting late goals means they always carry a threat, and Nicola's men should nick maximum points against a team that go into this weekend on the back of firing six blanks in eight league gameweeks.

Torino vs. Juventus (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Seeking to continue their long dominance of the Turin derby, Serie A's fallen giants Juventus visit city rivals Torino on Saturday evening.

After posting back-to-back wins, Juve now aim for an 18th straight game without defeat to their neighbours, which would set a new record in the Derby della Mole.

We say: Torino 1-1 Juventus

Recent history weighs against them, but Torino are made of sterner stuff under Ivan Juric - most notably on home turf. As Juventus are still searching for rhythm after their form collapsed in February, they may have to settle for a single point from the latest Derby della Mole.

Bologna vs. Monza (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Aiming to keep their pursuit of European qualification on track, Bologna welcome Monza to Stadio Dall'Ara for Serie A's Saturday night kickoff.

Two highly-rated coaches go head to head, as the Champions League-chasing Rossoblu host an away side seeking their first top-10 finish.

We say: Bologna 1-0 Monza

These teams could not be split when they met back in September, and both are well organised by an up-and-coming coach. It could be another close contest, then, with Bologna's ability to get the job done on home soil proving the difference.
