Ipswich Town have completed the signing of former Reading goalkeeper Jonathan Henly.
The Scotland Under-21 international had been on trial with the Tractor Boys.
He was released by fellow Championship side Reading earlier this summer and had been on trial with Ross County before the Scottish side decided not to offer him a deal.
Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy confirmed at a press conference today that Henly had done enough to earn a move and also that an offer had been made to another triallist, former Stoke City striker James Alabi.
Henly, 21, never made a senior appearance for Reading, making 27 appearances on loan in the Conference with Welling United last season.
