Man City injury list and return dates for Brighton: Kevin De Bruyne, Ruben Dias, John Stones latest

Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League fixture at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Manchester City are back in action on Saturday evening when they make the trip to the Amex Stadium to square off against Brighton & Hove Albion.

In what is a rarity under Pep Guardiola, City have suffered three successive defeats in all competitions, most recently losing 4-1 at Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League.

A total of eight goals have been shipped in games at Tottenham Hotspur, Bournemouth and the Portuguese giants at a time when Guardiola's squad has been hit by injury issues.

However, City travel to the South coast knowing that they can return to the top of the Premier League table before Liverpool's clash with Aston Villa if they overcome the Seagulls.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with a Brighton side that pushed the top-flight leaders last weekend.

Rodri

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Rodri sported his crutches as he collected his 2024 Ballon d'Or award in Paris last week, as the Spaniard recovers from the ACL injury that has ruled him out for the rest of the campaign.

Oscar Bobb

Status: Out
Type of injury: Leg fracture
Possible return date: January 4 (vs. West Ham United)

Likewise, Oscar Bobb is on the long road to recovery from the leg fracture that he sustained in pre-season, and Guardiola has confirmed that the young winger is eyeing a comeback in either January or February.

Jack Grealish

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Jack Grealish has spent the past couple of weeks in the treatment room with an unspecified concern, and Guardiola has suggested that the English attacker will not return this side of the international break.

Ruben Dias

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Ruben Dias was a casualty of the recent EFL Cup loss at Tottenham Hotspur, and Guardiola has now revealed that the Portuguese will be out for "a little bit of a long time" with that unspecified concern.

John Stones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Guardiola was equally cryptic when discussing John Stones's absence at the weekend; the 30-year-old played the full 90 against Tottenham before missing out on selection against Bournemouth, and he will not be available here either.

Kevin De Bruyne

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: November 9 (vs. Brighton)

After a nine-game injury layoff, Kevin De Bruyne has been back in the squad for the past two matches. However, despite City trailing in both games, the playmaker has not been used by Guardiola, casting doubt over whether any risks will be taken in the final game before an international break.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Manchester City have no suspended players for this match.
