Half-Time Report: James Henry draws Wolverhampton Wanderers level at Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town are pegged back to 1-1 at half time in their Championship tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Portman Road.

James Henry's strike six minutes before half time has drawn Wolverhampton Wanderers level at 1-1 with Ipswich Town after 45 minutes at Portman Road.

Dean Gerken reacted well after 10 minutes to make a save from Jordan Graham's deflected shot, which looked destined for the bottom corner.

Five minutes later, Ipswich went ahead with their first real chance of the game. Jonas Knudsen raided forward from left-back before picking out Jonathan Douglas, who poked the ball into the top corner to net his second goal in as many games.

Brett Pitman passed up the opportunity to double Ipswich's advantage midway through the first half as he headed wide after being found unmarked in the area by Freddie Sears.

Pitman then almost got a goal with a miscued cross which struck the top of the crossbar with Carl Ikeme backpedalling.

However, Wolves hit back shortly before the break through Henry, who fired home from close range after Mike Williamson had headed a deep corner back into the middle of the Ipswich area.

There was still time for another Ipswich chance before the half-time whistle, but Tommy Smith's header from a corner was saved by Ikeme.
