Inter Milan have sacked manager Andrea Stramaccioni and have replaced him with former Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri on a two-year deal.
Stramaccioni's future at the San Siro had been in doubt after he guided the club to a ninth-placed finish in the Serie A table last season.
The 37-year-old replaced Claudio Ranieri as boss of the Nerazzurri in March 2012.
In contrast to Inter's disappointing campaign, Mazzarri saw Napoli finish in second place before announcing his departure on Sunday.
Current Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez is believed to have agreed a deal to take over from Mazzarri at Napoli.
