Having followed their first Serie A defeat of the season with an overdue win in the Champions League in midweek, Inter Milan will host Juventus on Sunday in the Derby d'Italia.
Ahead of their old rivals' visit to San Siro, Inter are at almost full strength, as former Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu returned to training on Thursday and can compete for selection with ex-Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal - giving coach Simone Inzaghi food for thought.
For his first 'national derby' in charge of the Nerazzurri, Inzaghi also has Stefano Sensi back at his disposal following his return from a knee injury, and he is likely to feature from the bench.
Inter are, of course, set to line up in a 3-5-2 formation, with six-goal top scorer Edin Dzeko joining Lautaro Martinez up front, while Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella comprise the central three along with either Vidal or Calhanoglu, who has also featured as a support striker when required this term.
Out wide, Ivan Perisic and Denzel Dumfries are favourites to take the wing-back roles, but Matteo Darmian may be picked over the latter for his better defensive attributes, while Federico Dimarco provides an alternative to Perisic on the left.
As ever, goalkeeper Samir Handanovic - who made his 400th appearance for the club in midweek - starts behind the regular back three of Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni for the defending Serie A champions.
Gabriel Brazao is still out with a knee injury, so Alex Cordaz provides backup for Handanovic in case of injury or illness for the Inter captain.
Inter Milan possible starting lineup: Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Perisic; Dzeko, Martinez
