Kit Symons: Fulham "deserved something" from Blackburn Rovers defeat

Fulham manager Kit Symons is frustrated by his side's 2-1 Championship loss at Blackburn Rovers.

Fulham manager Kit Symons has insisted that his side deserved something from their 2-1 Championship defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Goals from Jordan Rhodes and Ben Marshall gave Blackburn the three points, putting an end to a strong recent run for Symons and his team.

He told Fulham's official website: "I'm very, very disappointed because we deserved something out of that game. We put in a good shift and played some good football at times so it's a tough one to take.

"But that's football, we've been there before and we'll be there again. But I'm proud of my players, the performance was good and I thought they played well so I've got no complaints with them. It just wasn't to be our day."

Fulham return to Championship action when they host Birmingham City next weekend.
