Paul Pogba has insisted that he would not have represented France at senior international level so early in his career without the influence of his club side Juventus.
The 20-year-old has featured on a regular basis for the Old Lady since his free transfer from Manchester United last summer.
His performances have caught the eye of France coach Didier Deschamps, who handed him his first outing for Les Bleus during yesterday's 3-1 win over Georgia.
"I would never have reached this stage of the national team without Juventus and I'm very grateful to the Bianconeri," Pogba told reporters.
Pogba's playing style has been likened to former Arsenal and France midfielder Patrick Vieira.
