Everton have reportedly set their sights on Valencia winger Andres Guardado.
The 26-year-old - dubbed 'Principito', which is Spanish for 'Little Prince' - made 44 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring one goal and assisting four in the process.
According to Valencia Plaza, Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has identified the Mexican international, who is in line to win his 100th cap against Panama next month, as a priority target in January.
Guardado, who moved to the Mestalla from Deportivo La Coruna last summer, is also believed to be of interest to Portuguese champions Porto.
