Crystal Palace reportedly tell Everton that they will need to pay £100m in order to complete the signing of Wilfried Zaha before the transfer deadline.

Crystal Palace have reportedly informed Everton that they will need to stump up £100m if they are to secure the services of Wilfried Zaha today.

The future of the 26-year-old has been one of the biggest stories of the summer transfer window, with a proposed move to Arsenal falling flat last month before the Toffees launched a keen pursuit.

Marco Silva's side are thought to have been knocked back with two bids for the Ivory Coast international to date - first with an opening gambit of £52m, then again this week with an offer of £70m plus two players.

That latest bid would be worth the equivalent of almost £100m, but according to The Guardian, Palace have now told their Premier League rivals that only a straight offer of £100m will do at this stage of the transfer window.

Zaha, who has four years remaining on his current contract at Selhurst Park, is said to be furious with his club's stance and reportedly handed in a transfer request on Wednesday evening in a bid to push a deal through.
