Crystal Palace have reportedly batted away a fresh £70m offer from Everton for the transfer of Wilfried Zaha.
The Toffees had proposed a player-plus-cash deal entailing a sum of £70m alongside the services of Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy.
Everton launched an unsuccessful bid worth £52m for Zaha last month but have retained their interest in Palace's star man and continued talks with Palace.
According to the Daily Mail, Everton's improved offer has not been accepted by Palace, with club chairman Steve Parish maintaining that the Eagles will not allow Zaha to leave this summer.
Arsenal launched a bid for Zaha earlier in the summer, only to leave Palace infuriated by their offer of £40m, which they consider to be nowhere near their valuation of the talismanic forward.
Everton have enjoyed a busy summer, completing deals for Andre Gomes, Fabian Delph, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Moise Kean so far in the transfer window.
