Everton to increase bid for Swansea City defender Ashley Williams?

Everton are reportedly planning to increase their offer for Swansea City captain Ashley Williams to £15m.

Everton are reportedly planning to increase their offer for Swansea City defender Ashley Williams after their opening bid was knocked back.

The Merseyside outfit, who are now under the leadership of Ronald Koeman, are said to have had a £10m offer rejected by the Swans.

The Welsh outfit have made it clear to Everton that they intend to keep hold of their captain, who has been at the Liberty Stadium for the past eight years.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the Toffees have not given up and are considering increasing their offer to around £15m.

The report adds that Swansea may enter negotiations if the bid is close to that figure.
