Jordan Pickford: 'Everton can go far on multiple fronts this season'

Jordan Pickford believes that Everton have the strength in depth to compete on all fronts and can go 'as far as they want to' this season.

Jordan Pickford has claimed that Everton have the strength in depth to compete on multiple fronts this season.

The goalkeeper, who joined from Sunderland for £30m, is one of several high-profile Toffees signings this summer.

Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen, Henry Onyekuru, Sandro Ramirez, Wayne Rooney and Cuco Martina have also come on board at Goodison Park in the last few weeks.

When asked about how far the club can go in the Premier League, Europe and the domestic cups, Pickford told the Everton website: "We can go as far as we want to.

"We've got the team and we've got the depth as well, which is massive, especially in the Europa League, but also week in, week out in the Premier League.

"The club is showing massive ambition and that's one of the reasons I came to the club."

Everton will begin the new season against Ruzomberok of Slovakia or SK Brann of Norway in the Europa League third qualifying round.
