Everton manager Roberto Martinez: 'The momentum is with us'

Roberto Martinez insists that the momentum is with Everton as they try to pip Arsenal to a Champions League spot.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez believes that the momentum is with his team as they try to push for a Champions League spot.

The Merseyside outfit are currently one point behind fourth-placed Arsenal in the Premier League table with a game in hand.

"It's about ourselves and our points tally," Martinez said in Thursday's press conference. "That is the only focus that we have.

"We've got momentum and all the signs suggest we're at the peak of our season."

The Toffees will take on struggling Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
